As used on 14's, 49ers - anything twin string - and of course Musto Skiffs, 700's Contenders etc. It really is the Biz! Even Dave failed to break his when he sent the GT60 over the handlebars and half knocked a tooth out on the lowers (yowch!).
'After the crash in which I tried to 'egg slicer' myself through the bottom of the rig, I collected myself - or the various parts of myself I could find anyway, and swam back round to the back of the boat. We got the thing up again and I climbed in over the transom - I expected to find everything smashed, but it was all fine - including the tiller extensions which, lets face it are most likely at that point to be in 2 or 3 pieces!'
