Manufactured here at our works by curing a single layer of 200g woven carbon fibre (fiber) fabric under a vacuum at 120 Deg C, which produces a 0.2mm (0.008") thickness (yes that really is 8 Thousandths of an inch) this is a very light, very high grade product, with an amazing surface finish. It can be bonded to a surface using all sorts of adhesives to produce that 'carbon fiber look' or indeed in very light applications (model aircraft for example) used as a self supporting wing or fuselage skin. It is important to note that it is VERY flexible and easy to cut with a pair of sharp shears. When we say VERY flexible, we mean you can bend it around single curvature surfaces by hand and get a radius down to less than 10mm (less than half an inch). This material is airtight and water proof.
